Football

Football or English - football - a ball game played by two teams of 11 players each. A sports match regularly lasts 90 minutes, ie two halves of 45 minutes each. The object of the game is to throw the ball into the opponent's goal. The team that scores more goals wins. Players may play with all parts of the body except the hands. If they touch the ball with their hands then the referee should give it to the other team. Only the goalkeeper can touch the ball with his hands, but only in the penalty area (penalty area). The match is divided into two halves, each of which lasts 45 minutes. Competitors wear T-shirts (jerseys) with numbers on the back. The soles of the shoes can be equipped with crampons or ribbed. Each player on the field, during the match is responsible for fulfilling a certain task by his manager or coach. In football, competitors are usually divided into: Goalkeeper.

- goalkeeper, whose main goal is to defend his net from opponents. The goalkeeper can touch the ball with his hands, but only in his penalty area. He is also not allowed to catch the ball returned to him by his teammate. - a defender, whose main goal is to defend his goal. The defender often covers or follows one opposing player throughout the game. Defenders often have to throw decisively at their opponents' feet to get to the ball. - a central player, whose main goal is to connect the defense with the attack. Depending on the match, the central players have other roles. They are in fact the most common creators of the game. - striker, whose main goal is to score a goal in the opponent's net. - penalty. The shot is fired from a specially designated point in the penalty area, which is located 11 meters from the goalkeeper. After the completion, all competitors without the goalkeeper and the one who will take the penalty kick should be outside the penalty area. The goalkeeper is standing on the goal line. The penalty is taken with a signal from the referee. - A yellow card is usually given to players who have broken some of the following football rules: Awarding a yellow card. The ball should be thrown from where it was taken.
