Healthy weight loss

Do not risk your health with various diets. Weight loss will be followed by fatigue and constant tiredness.

HEALTHY WEIGHT LOSS:

without starvation, on the contrary, with 4 to 5 meals a day;
without counting calories, carbohydrates, proteins, grams, milliliters;
without quinoa, buckwheat and chia, if you do not like them 🙂
Mediterranean diet, with emphasis on traditional cuisine;
meal options UP TO 20 minutes of preparation;
without 2 liters of water per day and 2 kilos of fruit;
AND NO RISKS TO HEALTH!
ALMOST ALL DIETS HAVE AN EFFECT

Unless you have significant metabolic problems, almost any diet will give you the effect of losing weight. This is due to several factors: first, the introduction of order (whatever it is) contributes to stabilizing the intake of calories in the body and start a negative energy balance.

Second, diets automatically mean excluding high-calorie foods, you simply stop eating everything - and that also contributes to the weight loss effect.

Third, unfortunately, many of the popular diets are severely restrictive and weight loss comes as a natural consequence. But here the next question arises - until when will the effect of the diet?

ALMOST ALL DIETS GIVE AN EFFECT… IN THE SHORT TERM!

This is the main problem of all diets: while they last, it has an effect, and on the day of cessation - the reverse process begins, the process of gaining weight again. This phenomenon of alternating up and down weight movements is known as the "yo-yo" phenomenon. You will notice that many people advertise that they do not have a yo-yo effect, which of course is not true. The yo-yo effect has significant profound physiological mechanisms, it cannot be simply defeated, and it is involved as a defense mechanism of the body that thinks it is beginning to be threatened by starvation.

Altered metabolism is the basis of the yo-yo phenomenon. Thus, the habit of regular dieting develops, of winter weight versus summer weight, of periods of uncontrolled eating versus periods of torture and starvation. And all of this might have been somewhat acceptable if it had not become clear, as it already is, that the yo-yo phenomenon severely impairs health in the long run and increases the risk of cardiovascular disease and diabetes.

HEALTH CAN BE THREATENED BY DIETS

The real danger of dieting comes in the long run, and that is masked by "quick success" (right, I lost weight, and that can not be unhealthy?). The key question here is: how do we measure whether a diet is successful? If the criterion is only the reduced weight - then we do not see the big picture. Even the temporarily changed parameters in the blood picture do not capture what is really happening to our body.

When it comes to our bodies, we should not think in weeks or months, but in years or decades. What does this diet do to my body and what effect will it have in 20-30 years from now? - that is the essential question. There are many popular diets at the moment that force the use of meat and delicacies. I will answer that with a question: did you know that the World Health Organization has declared cured meat products to be carcinogens of the first, highest category - safe cancers? So, can it be a healthy diet that recommends bacon for breakfast?

DR. MITOV'S PROGRAM: INTRODUCTION TO PERMANENT CHANGE

My program is guided by values: gradually, actively, permanently.

Gradually, because sudden variations in diet are not healthy and shock the body. Active, because to lose weight only with a diet, and at the same time not to move / recreate - is not healthy and is artificial weight loss. Permanent, because changes in diet and lifestyle should be permanent.

My goal is not for patients to return once a year (sometime in the spring), but to come once in a lifetime, to gradually change their habits towards healthier and to live life healthy and satisfied with their appearance. Anyone can!
